  1. Congratulations Sarah.

Back Story: Sarah’s mom, Nathalie was told by her friend Sylvie that her sister Francine heard about Sarah’s desire to be a painter. Francine is a professional painter living in Ste-Adele and offered to teach Sarah painting techniques. Sarah’s first lesson was yesterday and her first painting is presented to the members of Cafe Crem for their consideration and comments. Sarah says hello to everyone and wishes them well. Next time Sarah will write her own posts here after I show her how to do them. Sarah is 10 years old and is inspired by everyone on Cafe Crem who paints. Even Francine her teacher adapted Sarah yesterday as her niece. Pretty cool hey!

  4. Wow! This is excellent! Sarah, have you thought about writing a story to go with this? I am curious about this cute mouse, and who he might be giving this flower to.

I can’t wait to see more of your paintings!

  6. “Hi:

    Two things

    1) I’d like your permission to (re)print your article on “Mad Men”
    for our website

    2) I was hoping we could use your ‘scribing’ talent for our website.

The Best Shows Youre Not Watching (dot) com [all one word]

‘The Clone Wars’ is one of our featured shows. We’re hoping to round up a few people who can occasionally contribute perspective (via an article/blog) on the shows – maybe a recent episode, future direction, plot shortcomings etc.

    What’s in it for you?
Primarily a larger audience back channeled to your blog. We don’t pay but the site has a lot of promise and we’re pretty excited about getting it off the ground. Let me know what you think.

  8. Hi Sarah!

I just came to Cafe Crem -had unfortunately no time for a cafe visit before 🙂 – and had the great surprise to see your painting. I simply love it! I love the format, the composition and the tender colours very much, and also the little mouse has a great expression in her body and face.
You are talented, no doubt about that, and I guess your teacher thinks the same!
Whenever you feel like it, just come here in Cafe Crem and show us your paintings, I REALLY enjoy very much to see them.
Hug, and hi to your Dad, and to the whole family!

  9. Sarah this is truly amazing! You’ve definitely got the talent, the first lesson and such a result. Can’t wait to see the next ones and hope there will be many.

    Lots a love,
