Choco and Vanilla Tea Lights for Dinner

It is 10 PM in Spain right now, I have just lit the tea lights for our candlelight dinner, and as promised to Viv in a comment thread somewhere, I made a photo for our friends from Café Crem, so that you can spend this lovely evening with us, kind of!

But fingers away from the food please, Kevin cooked only for 2 persons!

PS: the Mac addicts among you will certainly recognise something they love in the top right corner…

  1. We had roasted vegetables with chilli tomatoe sauce, and a bottle of rose wine….
    hope it was good.

  2. It sounds as if you enjoyed your dinner… we enjoyed ours!
Not exactly rose wine for us, but “tinto verano”. It is a mix of lemonade and red wine (tinto). It is called “verano” because the people here are more likely to drink it in summer. This is one of the few alcoholic drinks Kevin likes, so we regularly have a glass with our meals. Unfortunately it is not always easy to find it in winter…
I am not like Kevin, I love read wine and champagne!!! Here I guess one recognises the French girl…

  3. I,ve become a fanatic of lemon (and red wine)! but I never heard before of “tinto verano”: two of my favourites – and most healthy things – in one! great! I,ve just read about the “cretois” or “mediteraneean” diet and thought of you too, lucky ones! It seems that us, those who live in northern countries, have to take our D vitamine from milk (puah!)…and this moment I<m writting you there are only MINUS @& degrees C! (yesterday we had even minus 35!)brrr!

  4. Haha! Danu – we should send you some tinto verano over from Spain, you’d love it!

  5. Not necessary, Kevin. Danu will come soon to Spain!

Danu, I am sorry for the cold and the milk vitamin… we have a lovely sun here, we sat at a Café terrace where I sketched, and some friends just brought us about 40 kilos of incredibly juicy and tasty oranges from their own orchard and about 10 kilos lemons!
