Café Crem

Art, Music and Words around The Coffee Table

I am not an intellectual, me…

A scene from our trip to Masko, today, after another driving range session…

After Cafe Crem’s recent scaling of esoteric heights, I thought I would bring things back down to earth a little…

  1. Loving all of the color!

  2. I always love the colors in your art, Miki! I really like the vertical shape of this. Feels like a daydream, floating up above the crowd.

I had a friend once who called me an “eater.” I hope she wasn’t making a comment on my intellect 🙂

  7. Viv,
I will tell you what I think about food and intellectuality.
I think that in most of the cases, love for food (I mean when it is not so extreme that it could be classified as an illness, like obsession) goes hand in hand with a deep sensuality. And sensuality and intellectuality certainly don’t exclude each other!
I have a great example in my family: my older brother. I have never met anyone as intellectual and who loves food as much as him!
I would even go further in my theory:
    intelligent intellectuals love food!

  8. *phew* that’s a relief.
I was reluctant to have to choose between the two options.
Kev- we’d make a great comedy double act, you picked up my “feed” from half a world away. Doh, back to food again.
And according to my brain article, brains use 20% of calorie intake, ergo, intellectuals actually need more food than others because they think more….I’ll keep telling myself that…

  9. Taking exercise to a new level! 🙂

    Comment by shelleymhouse | January 15, 2009

  10. I’m trying to combine the two disciplines – by tiring my self out just thinking about exercise!

  11. I did all my reading when I was younger and don’t read as much anymore.
