Animalia Portuguesa – Birds

So our menagerie meanderings continue as I present  a few birds. My technique, particularly with birds in flight, is wave the camera in the direction of sky and see what happens.Sometimes, it even works!

  1. I’m enjoying your tour of the wildlife of Portugal – great idea!

I love the seagull waiting for the store to open. You’d think if he’s a regular he’d know what their hours are…

  2. Thanks Bob! Re: the Seagull, Miki and I were walking through the town and just came across it. He was pacing up and down in an impatient manner, almost as though the guy was late opening the door and he was ticked off. It was absolutely hilarious to watch!

  3. Maybe I’ve watched far too many Looney Toon cartoons (in fact I have) but ducks on a group expedition bring a smile to my face no problem.

  5. Hello Mercury – I’m sure you can imagine the grin behind the camera as I spied these guys!
