“Better Late, Than Never!”
I try to put a lot of importance on my students getting to school on time. However, sometimes they are late for reasons beyond their control. When they come in late, guilty, and tiptoeing, I tell them, “Better late, than never!” Then they feel a bit better.

About Café Crem
Hello Boys & Girls from around the World!
Fancy a coffee with us?
Café Crem was created by Miki and Kev Moore in 2007 with the intention of gathering like-minded artists, writers and musicians together around the coffee table to discuss and share thoughts, ideas, art, etc.
This initial desire has surpassed our wildest dreams with a myriad of collaborations taking place between the various members, creating pieces of work that simply would not exist without Café Crem.
Have a wander though in our different rooms:
“Cafe Literati”, the Literary Room
“Café L’Arte”, the Art Gallery
“Ca’ Puccini”, the Music Studio
and, last but not least,
“The MiniBar”, our creative space for our kids and teens!
You are all welcome.
Contact Miki at miki@goodaboom.com if you want to participate!

We have it in French too:
“Mieux vaut tard que jamais”
And in French we have too:
“L’ exactitude est la politesse des rois”
Punctuality is the politeness of the kings
Great entry Madame Monet. And I always admire the way you are educating your students. This real education for life, and not only empty knowledge…

Tardiness has always been a bad habit of mine. I think I took “better late than never” too seriously. But I like your second saying, Miki. It might help me to be on time if it could help me rise to the ranks of royalty! 🙂

And isn’t true what they say…..”more haste, less speed”?

And “slow and steady wins the race” 🙂

I really like this French saying! I think it might impress my students, too. I never heard it. Thanks for sharing it.
