Art, Music and Words around The Coffee Table

Diaper Free?

Someone sent me this video today. I don’t see a problem with this concept if a stay-at-home parent has plenty of time, but I think it would be hard for most parents to implement, especially if they work outside the home!

  1. Guess what? I am a stay at home parent. A man!!!
I should start a baby book or something. I mean I really got into it and with twins too! After the age where they could talk that is where all my energy went. That is key I think. Now all in their teens except for Sarah who turned 9 today Jan. 9th {special???} {Mystical}. At this age I see that all the talking and listening I did is showing up as they find their own way in a larger world now. It makes me happy. Really there are no choices in life other than to be happy or not happy. This then implies when there’s clarity there’s no choices. When there’s choices there’s chaos. But the fundamental choice to make is to be happy or not. That is final. Then you have clarity all the time because of creativity and imagination.

  2. Hey Michael, I was the stay at home Dad with my daughter, which is why I feel the pain even more acutely with her problems. Because I would gig at night, I was the one with the nappies (diapers) I did the nursery school run…in those days, I was the only guy there!! I guess thats changed a lot now.
