Café Crem

Art, Music and Words around The Coffee Table

I remember those “Christmassy”, typical, eggnug Stanta cups which you could use, of course, for anything. They are somehow a symbol of Xmass. Bright red and white. I can smell the chocolate inside. Hummm!

  5. Here we call it eggnog instead of eggnug but I never got to drink it from such a fine cup. 1 point (is that still going)?

  6. Bill, she changes the rules more frequently than I change my underwear, but we’ll not go into that…Somewhere in here, she’s written it all down. When you find them, you will notice that I have a special Chocolate (Santa) clause inserted that guarantees me some hazelnut whirls regardless of my behaviour or performance. I don’t like to view this as cheating, more a manifestation of the survival instinct. Look, I was one of fifteen children and had tro fight for what I could get. Okay, okay, there was just me and my younger sister and I was greedy.

  7. Wonderful entry Yolanda. Tell us how you did this or at least me because I want to learn things. Curiosity you know.
    Merry Christmas,

  8. I don’t know about the spelling, it may be wrong…. I am sure “eggnug” never existed, only in my mind. !!! —

I am not participating in the contest, I did not include the “CCCcompetition” category , although I am enjoying all the submissions.

That rises the level and keeps them on subject. Ah.. those tempting chocolates and goodies promissed to the winner….What a temptation!

  9. Hey Yolanda. Please join us all in the festive competition because Miki and Kevin have worked so hard to put this site and bring us all together.

  10. I hate to loose, its a complimnet to the great talents here. I will cheer you all form my vantage point.

  11. Ok, Yolanda, of course it your choice. I won ´t give your points, but I will leave the category in your entry, because I want them all to be together. Do you agree?
And Michael, thank you, it was very touching what you said to Yolanda. At the end what we most enjoy are the entries, aren´t they?

    Comment by Miki | November 29, 2007

  12. Of course I agree. I am posting because I enjoy the delicious smell of all our coffees, the diferent blends and aromas have the scent of all your beautiful personalities. I want to post without the stress of winning.

Keep on posting, keep on cheering everyone!! That is the spirit…

  13. Well that was solved most amicably Miki and Yolanda and I concur.

  14. I’m just so impressed with the animation Yolanda! Is that an eggnog beard he has? I’m wondering if eggnog crosses all our cultures and if it’s made the same way – cream, eggs, sugar, nutmeg and optional rum? I notice that you smell chocolate inside. Is there a chocolate eggnog? (man! does this conversation make my stomach growl)

By the way, I think we need to put our name at the end of the post because it doesn’t automatically comeup on the post like it does on the comment.

  15. Well, I was remembering the eggnug, but this particular mug had chocolate. The recipe seems to be the same and of course, the rum for me is NOT optional!!! Hot chocolate during winter is the most I aspire for during cold nights.
