Happiness is a warm gun?
I just caught this news item on Yahoo as I checked my mail here in Lisbon…
“Columbia -South Carolina: A 4-year-old girl shot herself in the chest Monday after snatching her grandmother’s handgun from the woman’s purse while riding in a shopping cart at a Sam’s Club store, authorities said.”
I’m sorry, but I just had to comment on this. Is it just me, or has the world tilted on its axis? How in hell can this repugnant event, however accidental, even remotely have the possibility of happening?
“From my cold dead hands”, said Charlton Heston .. yeah? well you´re gone now Moses, so perhaps someone with a brain who´s outgrown the frontier mentality might wake up and smell the coffee.
