I want to write this entry for all my artists friends from Cafe Crem, to encourage them in publishing their art on the internet, when and where ever they can, and to never lose patience and courage. I promise you, it works! One day lovers of YOUR art will find your paintings here and buy them. I speak from my own experience in that domain, which has been wonderful in the last weeks. I don’t want to tell you details to protect the identity of my clients, but be sure that there are on the net people who are ready to buy art work which they love, without doubting one second and without even negotiating. And they buy it with love and respect.
One of the last I sold has been bought for a little Californian girl for her birthday. Her father bought it. Isn’t it wonderful that parents give art work to their children for their birthday? I could not believe it, but it is true! I still don’t know if the girl loves her gift, as the birthday will be in June, but her father assured me she will.
I am scared though, wouldn’t she prefer a toy?
I am still in touch with the father, and he is a very nice guy. By the way: I made many friends in my life among my clients… this is another wonder of my profession!
I post here a part of the big envelope which contained the painting. Admire the stamp please (house made, everything!)..

This is wonderful, Miki.
My father bought art for me when I was a child, but I think he bought art he liked, as opposed to what he thought I would like.

I think the girl would prefer your painting, miki! In my modest experience, children are a lot more sincere, more direct and without hidden thoughts about what they like… I always had a lot more children liking my paintings (maybe because many are so colorful… trop, d’apres certain adults) and I remember one time, at Bromont in art (sort of art fair) one girl really liked one of my small paintings… so much that I did gave it to her (after a while she came with his father and he bought it; I gave her, still, another… my pleasure to give to those who really like my paintings…
Though I did not yet sold any art, directly, because of my modest exposure on the net, I still hope… It would be the greatest thing of all, not to be obliged to go through galleries and such…
