A Meeting of Minds?
Something that fascinates me about the Festival of the Sacrifice is the incident that it celebrates.
From an outside perspective, I find myself wondering, is the moment when God tests Abraham asking him to sacrifice his son the last point in religious history where the Muslim, Jew and Christian faiths agree? When did the divergence start? I’m pretty ignorant in all of this, but, perhaps leaders of these faiths could use these happy coincidences as signposts to rally round and agree some common theological ground. (Perhaps they do, but I never seem to hear about it)
It would be a lot better than the current meeting of minds in some quarters where they all kill in his many names!

Like the duality presented in your thinking Kev. Makes me wonder too!
I’m just as lost, but forget Judaism, Christianity and Islam, what about the intolerance and sectarianism within these religions, its like everyone just wants to do their own thing.
A very good point, Supe, everyone should get their own house in order, but I fear the dogma will prevail.
